Tolt's TSA is open to students in grades sixth, seventh, and eighth. During after-school meetings, members explore projects in engineering and media arts. Projects include the use of video cameras, digital cameras, video production and imaging software. Members undertake building/engineering projects, and study leadership skills. Meetings usually take place on Wednesdays and go from 3pm to 4:30pm.

Members are encouraged to compete at the March state competition in Bellevue. All members are expected to complete at least one project from the competitive list.  There are approximately 30 competitions in the areas of engineering and media arts to choose from. Those members who succeed at state can qualify for the national competition, which is in Nashville this June.
